1. Thank you so much for your help! I am working on getting my master's in Educational Technology. Currently, I am a high school English teacher. I use Instagram on the side to document my family farm and the growth we are anticipating to make it a working farm.

In my Master's class, we are tasked with creating a documentary. I could not think of the subject until driving home from a hard day at work listening to Waylon Jennings, Momma's Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys. Long title aside, they don't write songs like that anymore. I was thinking after teaching seniors of how much we push them to be "doctors and lawyers and such" instead of cowboys (or any agriculture-related field). I want to make this my documentary.

It's nothing fancy so I don't expect anything amazing. I'm just asking for help. Can you film yourself answering one (or all three) question(s)? All I need is you to film sideways, face the camera (anything can be in the background), and a clear, honest answer. Feel free to add or expand on anything. It might not make it into this film but I might use it later!

  1. What do you like about living on a farm or ranch?
  2. What do you hope for your kid to learn from this lifestyle?
  3. Why would you NOT want your child to go into one of the more "mainstream" well-paying careers?
